Ovitas Translation Management Module
Layered with the CCMS, the Ovitas Translation Management Module (TMM) allows content experts to establish one or more baseline languages for a content set, and through workflow driven processes, create and manage lanugare derivitives.
Ovitas supports any language, including Right to Left and Cyrillic script. Within the CCMS, workflows are supported that allow a user to select and attach content to be translated, along with any additional contextual information, select languages for the translation, and TMM automates the creation of the translation package for delivery to any chosen target – human, machine, or translation management system.

Ovitas TMS Connector
The Ovitas TMS Connector is a pluggable framework that provides communication between Translation Management Systems (TMS) and the Ovitas CCMS. Through the Ovitas Workflow Portal, the Ovitas Translation Management Module (TMM) and the TMS Connector work together to create a round trip solution with the chosen TMS system.
Ovitas has partnered with XTM International as the initial TMS solution vendor. The Ovitas CCMS now integrates directly with XTM Cloud, the online offering from XTM.
The content is uploaded in the Ovitas Workflow Portal UI, and the workflow portal communicates with the XTM Cloud through API calls. The package is delivered to XTM, where it is translated. The workflow portal waits for the package return and starts the re-import process in the CCMS.
Ovitas and XTM International Partnership
XTM is the world’s leading cloud based enterprise translation management system with an integrated CAT tool. It is designed to be scalable, flexible and agile, with industry open standards at its core.
Focused on streamlining complex localization processes and supply chains, XTM centralizes TM assets for real-time collaboration, maximizing translation reuse. The system incorporates in-context WYSIWYG reviews, localization quality assessment tests, alternative translations for transcreation, a mobile app for project managers and a host of other features to meet specific industry requirements.
Ovitas partnered with XTM to create a bi-directional integration with the Ovitas CCMS and XTM Cloud, driven by the Ovitas Workflow Portal.
